Visa Regulations and official invitations

France is part of the Schengen area of European countries. Some guests may require a visa in order to travel to France. Information about entry requirements can be found on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Foreign exchange rates

The currency in France is the Euro. On https://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/ you can find the current exchange rates and a currency converter.

Cash machines are widely available in the city and most hotels and large stores accept all international credit cards.

Please note that there is no special hotel rates contingent for the COAR meeting.

If you are the legal authorized representative of your institution but are not able to attend the General Assembly 2019, you can name a proxy by filling a sub-authorisation form. Please download it at this link.
